Who
Conrad Benham
As a graduate Conrad joined the IT industry in Melbourne Australia, in January 2001. Joining ThoughtWorks in August 2004, Conrad has worked on a number of Agile software projects as a developer in Brisbane, China and Sydney. His career with ThoughtWorks so far has given him considerable Agile/Extreme Programming experience in the banking, finance, superannuation and gaming industries.
Conrad moved to Hong Kong at the beginning of December 2007. As a Technical Lead Conrad’s goal is to pair with his colleagues to iteratively introduce Hong Kong to Agile software development practices.
Conrad is passionate about developing simple, well factored and tested code. Though rare, he has occasionally been confused as being an Agile zealot.
Tom Scott
Tom joined ThoughtWorks as a graduate in February 2005. After attending the inaugural ThoughtWorks University in Bangalore, Tom has worked in a number of agile teams for a variety of clients in the financial, retail and marketing sectors.
Having switched from Java to .NET, Tom is now trying out ruby in his spare time; he is currently trying to overcome his curly brace withdrawal systems. Regardless of the language, Tom believes that developing software in an agile process is the most enjoyable and effective way of delivering quality code.
